Which Web browser is recommended for use with TPRO?

We recommend the latest Firefox browser, which is available at www.getfirefox.com 

Note: For those who may still have Internet Explorer version 6 installed, we advise against its use, for security, performance and other reasons.

Do I need any special software installed on my computer to use TPRO?

No, TPRO does not rely on any external plugins, Flash, Java or similar.

What are the system requirements for TPRO?

Please see the table. Note: If you need assistance with system requirements, the IT person within your school may be able to assist. Alternatively, please contact Trend Technologies.

Operating SystemOperating systems which can be used with TPRO include Windows, Mac OS and Linux.
Web browserTo use TPRO, you will need a Web browser such as Firefox.
Internet connectionA high-speed connection to the internet is recommended.
CookiesCookies must be enabled in your Web browser settings.
EmailEach TPRO user must have a unique email address (if your email address changes, you need to update it in your TPRO personal preferences).
JavaScriptTo use TPRO, you will need JavaScript enabled (by default, JavaScript is enabled when your Web browser is installed).
Display resolutionA minimum display resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, but set this higher if possible. Note: You may find the Zoom In and Zoom Out feature in Firefox useful i.e. so that you can view the TPRO site at whatever size suits you best.
